Service Disruption Notice: Key APES Services Offline This Evening

Please be advised that a number of our key services will be temporarily unavailable this evening (Friday, 24th October 2025) due to essential maintenance.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Which services are affected?

The following services will be offline and inaccessible during this maintenance period:

• APES Social: Our official community platform (social.apes.org.uk) will be down.
• National Exotics Database (NED): The NED portal (ned.apes.org.uk) will be unavailable.
• Mailing Lists: There will be a delay in sending and receiving updates from our mailing list services.
• Contact Centre: Our main contact centre ticketing system and phone lines will be intermittently unavailable.

When will services return?

We anticipate this disruption will last for several hours. Our technical teams are working to complete the maintenance as quickly as possible and restore full service.

We will post an update here on APES Newsroom as soon as all systems are back online.
