Issue Resolved: Email Delivery on APES Donor Social
By Association of Protecting Exotic Species CIC | 13 Jan 2026
Key Updates
- The Issue: Automated emails from www.apesdonor.social were failing to send.
- The Fix: Our technical team has identified and resolved the blockage.
- Action Required: Please check your inbox (and spam folder) for your account confirmation link.
We are writing to let our community know that the technical difficulties affecting the APES Donor Social Network (www.apesdonor.social) have been resolved.
Recently, we discovered that the automated system responsible for sending out account confirmation emails and notifications was not functioning correctly. This meant that many of you who signed up were unable to complete your registration or receive updates.
What happened?
A configuration error prevented our email server from dispatching messages to new users. Unfortunately, as we did not receive reports regarding this specific glitch immediately, there was a delay in identifying the root cause.
We sincerely apologise for the long wait some of you have experienced. We know how frustrating it is to join a community and be met with silence.
What happens now?
The blockage has been cleared.
- Confirmation Emails Sent: We have triggered a re-send of all pending confirmation emails.
- Check Your Spam: If you haven't seen an email in your main inbox, please check your junk or spam folder, as bulk automated messages can sometimes land there.
- Log In: You should now be able to verify your account and access the platform.
Thank you for your patience while we got this sorted. We are excited to see you on the network.
